The Baobab (Andansonia digitata), or Tree of Life (the tree can live 3,000 years), is native to Africa and the island of Madagascar. It is possible to use every part of this tree, from leaves to roots.
The pulp is used in traditional medicine, while the leaves have an anti-inflammatory effect, and the bark is used against fever.

Baobab fruits are rich in vitamins, and contain seeds which are an important part of the fruit (about 40%), from which this exceptional oil is extracted.
